Did you know it’s fall? The leaves may not be falling from the trees, but it is much colder and rumor has it that it is now November. In the spirit of fall, I made something that tasted of the spices of the season in a martini, which always helps warm you from within.
Apple Cinnamon Pear Martini
Ingredients:
- Apple Cinnamon Simple Syrup
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- Dash cinnamon
- 1/4 cup cut up apple bits
- Pear Vodka
- Small bits of apple cut up
- Pinch Sugar
Preparation:
- Make the simple syrup by heating all of the ingredients in a pan on the stove until the sugar is fully dissolved and the mixture reduces slightly. Strain the apples out and place simple syrup in a separate pourable container and let cool.
- In a shaker, muddle the small bits of apple with a pinch of sugar at the bottom and fill with ice. Add 1/2 oz simple syrup with 3 oz pear vodka. Shake thoroughly and strain into chilled martini glass.
- Garnish with apple pieces and enjoy.
Happy Shaking!!!
