Closer to a decade ago, my cousin who has lived in Denmark my entire grown up life, came to the small town of T-hawk with his family (and pretty much the rest of our family) for the Fourth of July. Besides all of the seriously fun times everyone had together, he also brought with him a cocktail that was perfect for a hot summer day or night.
He used to make this at a tavern he had worked at many moons before and it is surprisingly smooth, even with the main ingredient of Tequila.
Cactus Juice
Ingredients:
- 2 parts tequila
- 1 parts roses lime juice
- 2 parts 7 up
Preparation:
- Combine all ingredients in a glass with ice and stir OR make a large pitcher, without ice, stir and serve as glasses become empty.
Happy Cocktailing!!!
