The simple touches can make a dinner special. In the case of the Mexi-Turkey Burgers, the specialty came in the homemade flavors Aioli that topped the burger. When enjoying the turkey burgers, this aoili replaced the creaminess of the traditional ketchup or mustard, while adding a freshness with garlic and lemon juice and just a small amount of heat with the cumin.
I find that whether it’s an intimate evening for two or a large birthday party where your house is packed, the little things makes those moments all the more memorable.
Avocado Garlic Aioli
- 1 avocado
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup mayo
- 1/4 tsp cumin
- Sea salt & pepper
- 2 Tbls Queso Fresco cheese, optional. I added this when was making the Mexi-Turkey Burgers.
- In a food processor combine all of the ingredients until smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste.
